Plain-language terms for using Day in Port. If anything here conflicts with how the site actually behaves, tell us — we would rather fix the wording or the product than leave a contradiction standing.
What the tool actually gives you
Day in Port provides estimates, calculations and planning suggestions based on the data we hold about ports, terminals and transport. They are built to be realistic and conservative, not guarantees of any specific outcome.
Schedules change. Ships get delayed, terminals get reassigned, buses get rerouted, and a queue can run longer on a busy cruise day than it did the week we checked. We update our data when we learn about a change, but we cannot promise it reflects the exact conditions on your specific day.
Getting back to the ship is on you
You are responsible for managing your own time ashore and returning by the posted all-aboard time. Our calculator and buffer are there to help you plan with margin — they do not replace your own judgement on the day, especially if something looks off: a longer line than expected, a delayed bus, changed weather.
